Deputy Minister Sotyu is the Deputy Minister of Police of the Republic of South Africa from 1 November 2010 and she is a Member of Parliament. Prior to her appointment, she served Parliament in various Committees including the Joint Standing Committee on Defence. The Deputy Minister was also the Chairperson of Portfolio Committee on Safety and Security.
